Our range of garden courses and workshops for 2017 are held here in the garden at Allt-y-bela and at gardens that Arne has designed or is influenced by.

Early in the year, Allt-y-bela Head Gardener Steve Lannin will lead two practical workshops on creating 'rose domes' and plant supports. Arne will lead two 'Seasonal Planting' courses in March and May which are running on from the first two held in 2016, and also in May two one day courses on 'The Woodland Garden' and 'Planted Architecture'.

In April Arne is hosting a one day special event for Perennial, the charity for all UK horticulturists, which can be booked via the Perennial website here. (Places on this course are now sold out.)

In September the two day 'Sense of Place' course returns to Allt-y-bela. In this course Arne explains the reasoning behind his designs, and how he creates gardens which resonate with their surroundings, and their owners.

Details of each course can be seen by clicking on the relevant title in the calendar or on the picture grid. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to discuss any course in further detail.

Gift vouchers are available if you would like to purchase a garden course for a friend. Contact us for more details.

Courses are kept small and all prices include a delicious lunch of home cooked local produce as well as tea and cakes.
