The Garden Theatre at Allt y bela
The Allt y bela Garden Theatre will host a performance of William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet on Saturday 30 June 2018.
The play will be performed by The HandleBards, the world's first cycling theatre company. Before touring their "seriously silly" production of Romeo & Juliet around the world, they pedalled it 1,500 miles around the UK by bicycle, with all the necessary set, props and costume in tow. Now, the show is back by popular demand and, in usual HandleBards style, expect riotous amounts of energy, a fair old whack of chaos, and a great deal of laughter, with the wonderful backdrop of Allt y bela.
Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy before the play starts at 7pm.
Parking is available from 5.45pm at USK SHOWGROUND.
Minibus transport to Allt y bela will be provided. Bring a cushion, a coat and an umbrella - the show will go on whatever the weather!
